YEAR-END GRADE LEVEL PARTIES – DEC 16
Sharing some photos captured during our year-end grade level parties. Everyone had a blast with the games and festivities prepared by the teachers. What a fun way to end the year!
SHARE-A-TOY TURN OVER – DEC 16
In a simple but meaningful activity, our HSG students turned-over donated toys to OneChild Philippines. During the said event, our guest, Jake Manalac, serenaded us with holiday hymns and was joined by Teacher Juan in an impromptu song number.
The toys will be distributed to hope centers in Ilocos Norte, Bulacan, Fairview, and in a tribal community in Palawan. Indeed, we are one of the happiest people when we share our blessings with others.

WINNER OF THE LVL 2 DIV OF THE INTL ABACUS COMPETITION
Congratulations to Zakiahn Zion R. Bautista for winning in the Level 2 division of the International Abacus Competition held last December 17, 2022. He correctly answered 47 out of 50 Math problems within the allowed 5-minute time frame! What a feat! Kiahn, your HSG family is very proud of you! Continue to soar high!
3RD PARENTING WEBINAR – NOV 26
HSG believes that gifted children have needs that require specific attention. Teaching them how to monitor and manage their own behavior, thoughts, and emotions will help them tremendously in adjusting according to the demands of the situation they are in.
Ms. Mary Iphigene Daradar, a dear partner and insightful resource speaker on giftedness, tackled this topic for our 3rd Parenting Webinar.
UPCEAA PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Last November 13, Sir Amos was recognized by the UP College of Education Alumni Association and was given the Professional Achievement Award. The award was received on behalf of Sir Amos by his mother because he is currently at the University of Georgia as a Fulbright PhD scholar.
This is another well-deserved accolade added to his other numerous achievements. Continue to soar high! Your HSG family congratulates you!
2ND QUARTERLY FRIDAY OUT-OF-THE-BOX – OCT 28
We experienced the wonders of Halloween as we celebrated United Nations Day with a Trick or Treat twist in an exclusive event. HSG learners came dressed up as their chosen literary character from works written by different authors around the world. We had fun activities and games which the kids enjoyed!

CONGRATULATIONS KIAHN!
Congratulations to Zakiahn Zion R. Bautista for winning the Intra-Academy Competiton held last October 1, 2022! Kiahn was able to answer 45 out of a total of 50 Math problems in under 5 minutes. Of the 45 Math problems he answered he was able to get 41 of them correctly. What a feat! Your HSG family is very proud of you!

Congratulations to our dear learners, Glenvale and LA, for winning in the Hong Kong International Math Olympiad 2022 Final Round which was held online last August 28, 2022. Our two Math enthusiasts competed against representatives from Australia, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Parents of online and hybrid learners have been dealing with additional stress, and it is easy to forget taking care of one’s self and remembering that without self-care and self-awareness, we cannot support others.
Our speaker, Ms. Joy Jacinto, is an expert in mindfulness, self-management, and a parent herself, who will provide parents with the tools needed to cope with the mental and emotional challenges brought on by the pandemic, and share how to be happy humans amidst present-day challenges.
