HEADWAY SCHOOL for GIFTEDNESS
The HEADWAY SCHOOL for GIFTEDNESS (HSG) Special Programs and Workshops are open to HSG students and non-HSG students alike.
GROUP SOCIO-EMOTIONAL and ACADEMIC SKILLS TRAINING (GSST)
The GSST program enables learners to develop socio-emotional skills through a 12-month program. It enhances learners’ skills in understanding and managing their emotions which helps them develop meaningful relationships with other people. As part of the GSST program, HSG provides every learner with an Individualized Education Plan which serves as a contract between the parents and the school.
All participants in the program are expected to develop an awareness and understanding of self and self-esteem. They will develop behavioral management skills, emotional regulation, thought and impulse control as well as problem solving skills. The learners are expected to acquire strategies and adopt behavioral patterns that will help them successfully face day-to-day tasks and academic challenges.

TAEKWONDO
As parents, we want our children to be well-disciplined and to grow up to be respectable and productive. Some martial arts, like Taekwondo, can help our children acquire the needed core values and discipline to meet this goal.
MUSIC TRAINING (1-on-1)
At HSG, we believe in the holistic development of the child and that the arts should not be overlooked. Music training can provide children with improved academic, physical and social skills. It instills discipline and patience and it boosts self-esteem. Music training also introduces children to other cultures. When done in conjunction with other subjects and areas of study, music training helps children build essential skills that are useful in the preparation of a bright future.
FRENCH LANGUAGE for KIDS
Studies show that children who learn a second language increase their problem-solving, critical-thinking, and listening skills, in addition to enhancing concentration, and memory. Children proficient in other languages also show signs of enhanced mental flexibility and creativity.
